The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank of the Republic of the Philippines. It was established on 3 July 1993 pursuant to the provisions of the 1987 Philippine Constitution and the New Central Bank Act of 1993. The BSP took over from Central Bank of Philippines, which was established on 3 January 1949, as the country’s central monetary authority. The BSP enjoys fiscal and administrative autonomy from the National Government in the pursuit of its mandated responsibilities.

As Malaysia's Central Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia promotes monetary stability and financial stability conducive to the sustainable growth of the Malaysian economy.

To formulate and put in practice economic policies such as monetary policy, an accurate diagnosis of the economy is crucial. Since its establishment in June 1950, the BOK has compiled and provided basic economic statistics covering the main sectors of the Korean economy as basic data for such diagnoses: money&interest rates, national income, prices, balance of payments, flow of funds, business and consumer surveys, financial statement analysis and input-output tables. In addition to this, since January 2004, the BOK has operated ECOS website as the main method of delivering those statistics to policy makers and the public swiftly and conveniently.
