The Delegation visited the state capital Culiacán and the port city Mazatlán and had very fruitful meetings with the Governor of Sinaloa, Secretary of Economic Development of the State of Sinaloa, the Mayor of Mazatlán, other government officials as well as the business community in sectors of mutual interest including fishery, agriculture, food processing and retailing.
Furthermore, the Thai delegation had field visits to “Ley” Supermarket, “Del Campo” Tomato Farm, “PINSA” Tuna Processing Plant, the Port of Mazatlán, and the Shrimp Farm of Mr.
Roberto Watson.
Beyond the economic sphere, the State of Sinaloa and the Royal Thai Embassy have agreed to promote cultural and academic cooperation with a view to fostering closer people-to-people relations between the two countries.
The Royal Thai Embassy expresses its sincere appreciation for the kind hospitality and arrangement extended to the delegation by both the authorities and the business community of the State of Sinaloa.
