Gobierno chino abre convocatoria para el Programa de Becas China Scholarship Council 2014-2015

On 10-13 March 2014, Team Thailand Delegation, led by Ambassador Chirachai Punkrasin and comprising representatives from Thai Trade Office in Mexico and Thailand Board of Investment Office in Los Angeles, conducted an economic roadshow in the State of Sinaloa, to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Sinaloa.

The Delegation visited the state capital Culiacán and the port city Mazatlán and had very fruitful meetings with the Governor of Sinaloa, Secretary of Economic Development of the State of Sinaloa, the Mayor of Mazatlán, other government officials as well as the business community in sectors of mutual interest including fishery, agriculture, food processing and retailing.

Furthermore, the Thai delegation had field visits to “Ley” Supermarket, “Del Campo” Tomato Farm, “PINSA” Tuna Processing Plant, the Port of Mazatlán, and the Shrimp Farm of Mr.

Roberto Watson.

Beyond the economic sphere, the State of Sinaloa and the Royal Thai Embassy have agreed to promote cultural and academic cooperation with a view to fostering closer people-to-people relations between the two countries.
