The Asian economy will remain resilient, and the inflation rate will continue to decelerate this year and the next.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) published projections of the economy of developing Asia and the Pacific region last month, estimating that the economies of the region will increase 4.9% this year and the following year. The inflation will continue to decelerate 3.0% next year.
Despite positive signs, the ADB warns about the risks and challenges that could generate distortions in the path of growth, in particular, the geopolitical tension that increases the risks of normal function in the supply chain.
