Chile Week in China

At the beginning of October, a new anniversary of the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between Chile and China was celebrated. This treaty was expanded by a supplementary agreement on services and investments, among other modifications.

The agreement has allowed for an increase in trade flows between both countries, with China becoming Chile's primary trading partner.

To further boost trade, the Chile Week in China has been taking place for the past 8 years. The event, held from October 14th to the 20th, featured the participation of the President of Chile, Mr. Gabriel Boric, and numerous Chilean and Chinese entrepreneurs. Within this context, the Chilean export promotion agency, ProChile, signed a cooperation agreement with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to strengthen commercial and economic cooperation between both countries.
