Symposium: “The Indo-Pacific strategy of Korea and the regional cooperation with Latin America”
At the end of 2022, the government of the Republic of Korea presented the document “Strategy for a Free Peaceful and Prosperous Indo-Pacific Region” in order to explain the aims and principles inspiring the new strategy and the impact it will have in the international economic relations in particular of Korea with Latin America.
In order to reflect on how the strategy may influence the network of trade agreements, the investments, the security of the supply chains, the cooperation in technological matters, among other important issues, the Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory, in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Uruguay, will hold a symposium where authorities and academicians from Korea, Chile, and Peru will participate.
