Conferencia: “China y el desarrollo económico de América Latina y el Caribe: claves y perspectivas”

Between 13 and 19 November 2015 the leaders week, APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum) was held in the city of Manila, Philippines. Colombia, represented by President Juan Manuel Santos, was the only non-member economy of the Forum to attend this high-level meeting.

The presence of the country at this important event has been interpreted by different actors as an indication of that finally, after two decades of waiting, the conditions are given for Colombia to become the 22nd APEC economy.
