The Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia, Enna Viant, received Mr. Yusral Tahir, Director for Bilateral Cooperation of the Centre for International Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, in order to discuss issues related to new ways aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries in this area.

The Cuban diplomat conveyed an update on the transformation of agriculture in the Caribbean island which opens creative ways of exchange.

Likewise, the Ambassador handed in the invitation to an Indonesian businessmen delegation to participate in Havana Trade Fair to be held in November 2014.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere during which the parts discussed issues related to the future signing of agreements between the ministries of Agriculture of Cuba and Indonesia aiming to increase the bilateral cooperation.
