The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation gives considerable importance to coverage and quality aspects of statistics released in the country. the statistics released are based on administrative sources, surveys and censuses conducted by the Center and State Governments and non-official sources and studies. the surveys are designed by using scientific sampling methods. Field data are collected through dedicated field staff. the methodological issues concerning the compilation of national accounts and other statistics are overseen by the Advisory Committee on National Accounts, Standing Committee on Industrial Statistics and Technical Advisory Committee on Price Indices. the Ministry compiles data sets based on current data, after applying standard statistical techniques and extensive scrutiny.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator. MAS also works with the financial industry to develop Singapore as a dynamic international financial centre.
The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), the nation's central bank, is the monetary and supervisory authority. The mission of the NBC is to determine and direct the monetary policy aimed at maintaining price stability in order to facilitate economic development within the framework of the kingdom's economic and financial policy. The NBC conducts this in consultation with the Royal Government and in consideration of the framework of the economic and financial policy of the kingdom. As the monetary authority, the NBC is the sole issuer of the Khmer riel, the national currency. In doing so, this helps maintain monetary stability.
It is envisaged to be a vehicle for official statistics, process re -engineering by increasing automation in data collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination with the help of latest technological advantages of emerging technologies.
The NSO is the statistical information center for the whole country while provincial offices also exist and act as information centers the provinces. The National Statistical Office of Thailand has following missions: managing/organizing national statistical and information system to support national development and competitiveness, and developing statistical production and service to better serve the users’ needs.
